Does ARTTRA run a standalone sketching or drawing class?

No. Sketching and drawing are taught within our age based art courses, not as a separate class. You join the course for your age group, and drawing is a core part of what you learn there.

Do I need experience before joining?

None at all. ARTTRA welcomes complete beginners of every age and always starts with the fundamentals. Instructors adapt their guidance to each student, so you feel supported from the first lesson.

Can an adult learn to draw from scratch?

Yes. Plenty of adult students begin with no background and progress faster than they expect. Drawing is a learnable skill grounded in observation and practice, and the adult course is paced to make it enjoyable.

Which course should my child join?

Placement follows age, with courses for ages 3 to 5, 6 to 11, and 12 to 17. Each is shaped around that age group, so your child learns drawing at a level that keeps them engaged and improving.

Children (Ages 6 to 11)
